Canberra National Gallery Of Art Wedding

What a day!! When you think of a 14 hour day shooting, my first initial thought were 'WOW! Big Day!!. When in all honesty it flew by as if it were a 6 hour day, with all of the celebrations and kind welcoming people at Ken & D's wedding it was such a pleasure. Not to mention a few of the guests were previous clients of ours only a few months ago Phillip & Michelle.

Starting the day at Aria Hotel Canberra we were lucky enough to have both bride & groom in the same location. Which makes it much easier and much more time efficient when we don't have to go to two seperate locations to film the preparations.

It was a short elevator ride and there we were! Both preparations went very well, with beautiful rooms and some cute gifts from one another you could already see how nervous/excited they both were. Diana looked AMAZING! With her flowers designed by Florever, Veil & Dress by Sarina Tavra Bridal Couture

Heading over to the NGA ( National Gallery Of Australia ) it was quite a warm day, and with the sun being quite high at this point in time it was a good challenge for the team. Ideally afternoon ceremonies are perfect, but in saying that this lucky pair had to fit not just one ceremony but 2 ceremonies in 1 short day!

The ceremony by was conducted by Licensed to Wed Gina Callan & organised by a lovely cousin of Ken's who might I add did an amazing job! This short yet very meaningful 30 minutes was filled with words of love, wisdom & happiness as Ken & Dianna become Husband & Wife.

After a bit of mingling with the guest's we got straight into the photo's section. This part of the day is always a great chance for the bridal party to have a bit of fun and also for the bride & groom to take in these special moments after becoming husband & wife. taking advantage of a few cool sculptures & fog that was in the sculpture gardens we did our best to smash it out nice & quick so the newly weds could go and get changed for ceremony #2.

Moving onto the next location, Ruby Restaurant we got straight into editing a short 5 minute highlights for the pair as had been requested to show at the reception. This isn't something we usually have time for, but we did have a small gap in-between photos section the the entrance for the second ceremony.

The second ceremony was beautiful, filled with Lao culture & precious moments we loved capturing every part. As the night continued so did the amazing celebrations, filled with so much love & laughter we loved every moment of it.

The reception venue was decorated by A Touch of Elegance & looked spectacular! Not to mention the awesome band Capital Club who got EVERYONE up on their feet dancing & singing with some AMAZING classics. Ken & Dianna had also arranged for a media wall for everyone to take their snapshots & hashtag as many photos as possible, such a good idea! Wall made by ROJO Custom Designs. Not to mention the cake that looked super tasty made by La Ombre Creations.

Thankyou Ken & Diana for having us be apart of such a special day, we wish you both nothing but the very best & all the happiness the world has to offer you.
