Friday the 12th of May was a magical day, the day that Jarrod & Megan became husband and wife. What a pleasure it was to have been apart of such a special combination of love, heart & soul between these two.
Starting off with the boys there was nothing but smiles, banter & laughter between them all, having a great start to an amazing day. Arriving to an absolute beast in the drive way we knew it was going to be a spectacular day already. Shooting the smaller details while the boys continued the good vibes it didn't take long before it was time for them to get dressed & ready for Jarrod’s big day. Having a beautiful wide open home to shoot the boys in was a great start, more then enough room to fit their big biceps & broad shoulders. Being very active & fit boys there was gun shows all over the place, this continued on right through the day which made for some images that displayed their personalities perfectly. Once they had all gotten themselves ready and looking handsome we went downstairs and got some awesome shots with them all next to the beast, which you can see just down below! Any car enthusiasts will appreciate this beautiful machinery, I know we sure did.
It was now time to head on over to Coolibah Downs where the bride & her bridal party were getting ready.

They also has a wedding coordinator & hostess with the garden and chapel ceremonies & receptions to ensure a smooth, successful wedding. The wedding reception is held in the permanent marquee, complete with fairy lights in the ceiling and backdrop behind the bridal table. The main lights are dimmed after formalities have finished, highlighting the candle and fairy lights in the marquee and gardens, creating a romantic ambience for you and your guests. Past brides have told us that their guests were still talking about Coolibah Downs weeks after later saying how beautiful the property was and how much they enjoyed themselves and the food. '
It is always a pleasure coming to this wedding venue as it holds very significant value to me, shooting Heidi & Brendan's wedding here I will always hold close to my heart. In saying this I was very pleased to be shooting here once again.
Walking in to the cottage to find our beautiful bride Meagan looking just stunning, the makeup on all of the bridal party was just flawless. Lenise Pattini turning these beauties into princess’s. Beautiful hair styled by Prue pieters hair stylist.
Meeting Meagan's parents they were very excited, as was Meagan although she was very calm you could see it in her eyes that she was well & truly ready for he biggest day of her life. While they girls continued to get ready we got some stunning images of the AMAZING wedding dress Megan had chosen for her special day, with beautiful details covering the gown it was breath taking.. and this was before it was even on Megan.. When it came time to put it on, I think its safe to say everyone in the room was blown away, we'll & truly stunned by just how gorgeous Megan looked. This gorgeous dress made by LUV Bridal was just beautiful, by far one of our favourites. Flowers by Silkflora added a beautiful floral element to the bridal party.
Whilst the bridesmaids finished off tying the back of Meagan's gown without even looking at the clock we knew the time was near as you heard the roar of the beast arriving at the venue. Megan's face lit up when she heard her husband to be arrive.
Heading down to the chapel in preparation for Meagan's arrival you could see just how excited everyone was to see the beautiful bride. The ceremony was just perfect, Jarrod was already in protection mode shielding away any mosquitos coming near his beautiful wife, which was an amusing little add on giving everyone a smile & a laugh. Announcing Mr & Mrs Boyce for the first time, the entire chapel stood and cheered for them as they walked back down the isle as husband & wife.
Reception was a blast, the speeches were very humorous & I think just about everyone in the room was in stitches at one point or another. The cake stand was filled with Crispy Cream doughnuts which we thought was an awesome idea as who doesn't like doughnuts !? Cake made by Cakes by Cait.
The first dance was beautiful & as expected we had a little gunshow for all the guests, and before long the dance floor was filled with some funky moves & nothing but smiles.
The time was coming for us to finish off the night, getting some snapshots of the great dance moves , we packed up & came to say our goodbyes.
We thank Jarrod & Megan for choosing us to be apart of their special day & we cannot wait to share the video of their fairytale with you all. Wishing you both nothing but pure happiness, endless love & the perfect happy every after.
