Welcome to the blog, my name is Rob & I will be giving you an inside view into the wedding of Sam & Anna's luxurious wedding. First off let me start by saying this wedding was just fantastic to be apart of. Starting the day with Sam & the guys, Sam had a lot of nervous energy & you could really sense how much this day & Anna really meant to him. Every part of the day had been thought out & planned for beautifully, as well as all of Sam's accessories which might I add were very impressive.
Both our bride & groom where staying at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove, we recently created a video with the best of our footage from 2016 if you are interested in checking it out please follow this link. Anna was getting ready in the Manor Suite, this room is my favourite bride preparation location as it's perfect to capture these special moments on photo & video with a luxury feel accompanied by some great window light.
As we arrived to meet Anna she was presented with a few gifts which the ladies opened together, as you could imagine this got the emotions flowing quite rapidly. Thus prompting me to ask the girls how much Anna means to them while I was filming away, we got some beautiful reactions showcasing that raw emotion we love to capture. Moving on to one of the most important moments for every bride is the moment she puts on her dress and see’s herself for the first time on her weddings day. Anna's accessories were also impressive & as you can see from watching the video she really did look amazing, thoughts in which Anna's dad exemplified as he entered the room.
Heading over to the gorgeous & very popular sanctuary cove glass chapel featuring a tremendous floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Coomera River, and boasts a mezzanine floor for unique wedding videography & photography opportunities. I arrived to see Sam pacing nervously as the groomsman where trying to keep things light with a few jokes. The bridesmaids arrived & then Anna followed, it was a great ceremony with one of our favourite celebrants Tanya Bennett from I Do For You guiding proceedings.
A group & some family images were taken before the bridal party & our team started on trip around the grounds at the Intercontinental, providing us with a good variety of locations Including a chance to get the drone up, which has really been a hit with our couples in 2016.
We were welcomed out the front of the resort by the crew from Two Wheel Escorts , escorting the bridal party to the Reception location in Harley Davidson's & custom Choppers as well as guys from Brisbane Luxury Rides, this can also be viewed in the video.
After arriving at The Links Hope Island we set of around the Golf Course for some more images which included a beautiful sunset moment, which for me was the most memorable moment for the day. I took the moment to sit back & take in just how lucky we are at J'adore to be part of these special moments.
We walked in to the reception & were blown away by how truly elegant the venue looked with a featured ice sculpture featuring a fountain in the middle of the room. Our bridal party made a grand entrance with dry ice being poured into the fountain which made it even more spectacular.
Our final scene in the video was of our couples first dance which again looked amazing with dry ice covering the dance floor.
