Over the years we have spent quite a lot of time in Canberra shooting weddings, and we have to say we love it! This time we had the pleasure of travelling to ACT to shoot the wedding of Tomas & Alyssa. This trip was a little different as we for the first time had experienced our first fire evacuation! In a hotel not far from Canberra airport it was the most memorable Canberra trip so far. Luckily everyone was safe & sound.
Anyway! Moving on!
Meeting Alyssa on the moving of her wedding she was instantly super calm, super gorgeous & ready to get this party started. The hair and makeup was just about done by zandcostudio when we had arrived, just some final finishing touches. The girls hair was done perfectly as was their makeup. Alyssa was no exception, she looked amazing. If I knew anything that morning it was the Tomas was a very lucky man.
Rob moved along to the boys while I stayed with Alyssa & the girls, and from what I have seen in the video footage they all had a great time getting ready for this amazingly momentous occasion.
It was jus about time to make our way down to St Christophers Cathedral where Tomas had been patiently awaiting his stunning bride. Arriving in style it was easy to see that all of the boys loved their cars & motorbikes, making a grand entrance with engine’s roaring.
The ceremony for Tomas & Alyssa was perfect, every time Tomas looked at Alyssa you could see in his eyes how much he truly loved the women standing before him. It truly was an honour to capture something so very special.
For the wedding video section we went down to the NGA, wondering around the sculpture gardens the time drew closer & closer for us to start making our way to Pialligo Estate Glasshouse. Might I just add how gorgeous this venue was! With Lavender blooming the colours were fantastic.
The night continued on with some formalities, great speeches & some fantastic move on the dance floor.
We thank both Tomas & Alyssa for having us be apart of such a special day. Wishing you both nothing but the very best in this world.
