Revisiting the Love Story of Michael & Olivia’s Sheraton Mirage Gold Coast Wedding
On April 23, 2016, Michael and Olivia celebrated their wedding, a day full of love, joy, and unforgettable moments at the stunning Sheraton Grand Mirage on the Gold Coast. Over the years, their bond has only grown stronger, and they’ve extended their family with two beautiful daughters—Addisyn, 5, and Montanna, 1. These two little girls have brought endless love and laughter into their home, filling their lives with even more happiness.
For their wedding, Michael and Olivia chose Jadore Weddings' photo and video combo package, allowing us to seamlessly capture every special moment from start to finish. By having one company handle both photography and videography, we were able to work in perfect harmony, ensuring every cherished memory of their big day was beautifully preserved.
The day began with preparations at two different holiday houses on Chevron Island, which, coincidentally, is now home to the Jadore Weddings office!
Michael’s getting-ready location was filled with the sound of laughter and excitement, and his beaming smile said it all. Olivia, on the other hand, was filled with excitement, counting down the days on Facebook, and when we arrived, we could feel her joy. Her bridesmaids, dressed in stunning deep navy gowns, added to the elegance of the morning, while their bouquets, designed by Tyree from Ufloria, featured gorgeous shades of purple that perfectly complemented the theme.
One of the highlights of the day was Olivia’s arrival at the ceremony in a classic car that added a touch of timeless beauty and sophistication. Her entrance was nothing short of spectacular, perfectly matching the grandeur of the day.
The ceremony itself took place at the Sheraton Grand Mirage, the only 5-star resort in Main Beach with direct access to the beachfront. The venue’s outdoor setting was enhanced by its beautiful wooden walkways, leading to the Lagoon section where the ceremony was held. White flowers were elegantly centered down the aisle, and draped curtains framed the moment Michael and Olivia exchanged their vows. The love they share was on full display, and it was clear to everyone in attendance how deeply they are connected.
One of the unique aspects of Jadore Weddings is that we offer both photography and videography, allowing us to capture every special moment without missing a beat. Our team worked seamlessly, ensuring that nothing went unnoticed and that the day unfolded effortlessly for the couple. After the ceremony, we took Michael and Olivia to Main Beach, where they had direct access from their venue. The easy access allowed us to capture stunning shots of the couple walking down the dunes, the wind softly blowing, as they made their way toward the ocean. The sky lit up at the perfect moment, and our photographers captured some truly magical shots that we knew would be perfect for their wedding album.
As the day moved into the reception, the Sheraton Grand Mirage once again provided a breathtaking setting. Instead of glass seating arrangements, the room was adorned with a stunning four-layered cake, decorated with a blue satin ribbon to match the wedding theme. Embossed with intricate details, this cake remains one of the most beautiful designs we’ve seen to date.
The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Olivia’s sister delivered a touching speech, with Michael lovingly standing by her side, and the room was filled with joy and emotion. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly, with countless amazing moments shared by all. The day truly reflected the love Michael and Olivia have for each other, and it was felt by everyone lucky enough to be there.
It’s hard to believe that eight years have already passed since Michael and Olivia’s stunning wedding day. Their love has continued to flourish and deepen, truly exemplifying the strength of their bond. With the joy and laughter brought by their two beautiful daughters, Addisyn and Montanna, their journey together has become even more enriching and meaningful.

Clint and Tarni’s bond was evident throughout the day. Their love story has been one of deep connection and commitment, and this day was the perfect culmination of their journey together. Every detail reflected the care and love they’ve put into building a life with each other, surrounded by family and friends.
One of the highlights of the day was their adorable flower girl, none other than their beautiful daughter. Watching her walk down the aisle brought a sense of warmth and love, setting the perfect tone for the ceremony. She stole everyone’s hearts when, halfway down the aisle, she decided to sit right in the middle, earning a chorus of "oohs" and "aahs" from the guests, before finally running to her dad. It was a sweet, candid moment that added an extra layer of charm to an already perfect day.

Clint’s raw and honest vows touched everyone present, his vulnerability showing just how deep his love for Tarni runs. In return, Tarni’s heartfelt vows, filled with admiration and love, left many guests wiping away tears. Harry & Josie’s Journey: Love Across Oceans
This is a blog I had quite fun writing, as the story itself, and the people involved are quite special. On October 9th 2021, Harry and Josie tied the knot at the stunning Sol Gardens in Currumbin Valley on the Gold Coast.
Harry and Josie’s story began uniquely—on the small island of Gili T in Indonesia, where both were working as scuba instructors. With nothing but a dirt path between their dive shops, Harry often found excuses to visit Josie’s dive shop to talk to her. Their daily catch-ups at a local bar eventually grew into something more, leading to a love story that spanned oceans.
The wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and personal touches. The groomsmen looked sharp, donning COVID masks that matched their pocket squares and ties, a playful nod to the times. As the couple exchanged vows, it was hard not to be moved. Harry's heartfelt words were a beautiful reflection of his love for Josie, while Josie's painted a vivid picture of their courtship, recounting how she had known from the very beginning that Harry would be part of her life forever.
The reception was a lively celebration, filled with fun moments. The couple played games, popped champagne, and even managed to sneak in a shoey or two, with a bridesmaid and groomsman joining in on the fun. Harry’s laughter was a constant companion throughout the evening, adding to the joy of the occasion.
From their first meeting on a small island to their joyous celebration at Sol Gardens, Harry and Josie’s journey is a beautiful reminder of how love can find you in the most unexpected places.
Now, three years later, they’ve built a beautiful life together with their adorable one-year-old daughter, Billie. It feels even more special knowing our lives are now connected in such a beautiful way—Josie and my sister Kelly joined the same mothers' group after the birth of their daughters. A small world that continues to bring meaningful connections into my life.
As always, getting to be around and capture a glimpse of love in its truest expression, and documenting the beginning of these amazing people’s journeys was something I will never get tired of.
