For a day that was supposed to be all rain and storm, it started off beautiful. With nice warm weather & clear blue skies. (for now at least!)
Starting with the boys at the Meriton in Broadbeach, all was well. Not a worry in the world for these blokes, up for a good chat and a fun time. Shannon seemed to be a little on the nervous side but nothing too major, well not at this stage! Groom prep went along smoothly and it was now time to move along to our beautiful bride to be, Janine.
Meeting with Janine early on in the year, she was a bundle of energy! Loved her presence and safe to say I was excited to see her again. The ladies mirroring the groomsmen were the same, quite calm, easy going bunch. Janine at this stage was just finishing up her, makeup and my goodness did she look stunning! I remember thinking isn’t Shannon a lucky fella!
As the morning progressed, it was time for me to move along to my next wedding and let Rob take over. Having arrived home from International work the day prior he was a little jet-lagged but still rearing to go.
It was almost time to head to Stella’s, the boys riding in style on their Harley’s as the ladies travelled in style as they both made the way to say “I do” in the beautiful presence of civil celebrant Tarnya Bennett.
“At Stella’s is situated approximately 6km from the historic little village of Mudgeeraba in the gorgeous Hinterland on the Gold Coast… the beautiful scenery of the green behind the Gold as they say!!
Enjoy the short scenic journey to this very special place, and once you have arrived we hope you feel the warmth, comfort and old fashioned hospitality we offer. Because that’s what we want you to feel. This special place isn’t just a venue… it’s an experience and we want to be the difference and make the difference on your special day.
We have all been in the business of weddings and industry of love for over 10 years now and all the people who are part of the At Stella’s team are personally chosen and have to be the perfect fit for this special place… it’s a wonderful team that is more a family! After all, there is no “I” in the word team and we as a team work together to ensure your special celebration of love runs smoothly.”
From this point on, from what I have seen and heard the day was a breeze.. progressively getting breezier as the weather started to turn sour. But nothing on this day could dim the smile on these two.
From the bottom of our hearts, we wish Shannon + Janine all the very best and our warmest congratulations.
Lots of love,
Rob + Isla xo
