Burliegh Beach Wedding AND Melbourne Red Scooter Wedding

With a big adventure ahead of our team with this amazing couple we were all excited to get started. Having had our team meet Sid & Karlee prior to the wedding, we knew they were going to be feeling extra comfortable with us on not just one, but on TWO of their wedding days.

With the ceremony and reception both taking place in Burleigh, we split our team off so both Sid & Karlee’s pre footage/photos could be taken with ample time for ceremony set up.

We had one set of the team turning up to Sid & Karlee's house, where the music was already playing, and Sid & his groomsmen were in full swing of starting the celebrations. We got all of the key shots of Sid getting ready with the help of his trusty groomsmen. This ended with the gift receiving  where Sid got his team all matching backpacks stuffed with other necessities to kick the night off.

Turning up at the girls house we saw Karlee’s beautiful two piece bridal gown created by Grace Loves Lace.  The Luna is the ideal two-piece for the woman wanting classic beauty with a fresh, modern flair. We got there just in time to as well to get some snaps of the beautiful bride getting her hair done by livijaynelittle as make up had already hair had already been finished and touched up by Tennille.Hairstyls we got a few bridal shots and got to get Photo/Video of Karlee getting ready before the other half of the team jetted off to Burleigh.

Time flew by and before we knew it, the ceremony was being set on up Burleigh hill with the Gold Coast and oceans views being in the centre views of the aisle. It’s always an amazing sight to see the groom’s reaction when the love of his life walks down, and Sid was no different. With the ceremony being officiated by Clarah Luxfod, the service was such a beautiful affair. The heartfelt vows that got tears from a few of the crowd including the bridal party, then it was off to their photo section by the rocks in Burleigh. We had everything playing to our advantage with pink hue skies as the sun was setting and this was great for the more intimate photos.

Oskars on Burleigh was our reception location. With the magnificent backdrop views overlooking the beautiful Burleigh beach, this os only half of what makes the place special for a wedding reception. With a perfect reception picked by Sid & Karlee the guests were flowing in, and a live music band was full into action.

Before we knew it, Oskars was closing for the night, and it was time to go home, but this wasn’t the end of the adventure yet.

In just a few days we found ourselves in Melbourne for wedding No# 2! & we could only imagine how these two were feeling!! Going to Sid & Karlee's preparations in the morning they were conveniently just down the hall from one another which we love! Means more time shooting and less time travelling.

Any-who, we made our way not long after to the ceremony which was held at Red Scooter which is a great little all in one venue. They had both the ceremony, reception & photos section here. Sid arriving was probably one of the coolest entrances I've seen anyone make to date! Riding down the street on a horse with such beautiful decorations surrounding by family & friends dancing to the traditional music, it was magical! & also very colourful!

As Sid made his way down the street we had come to an end, it was time for him to step inside and get ready for his bride to be's arrival. It wasn't long before Karlee started making her way down the isle with her bride-maids holding a beautiful sheet above her head. The love these two share was electric, you could feel as soon as they saw one another just how strong their love was.

The ceremony was just as powerful, with traditions taking place as Sid & Karlee eloped for the 2nd time nothing at this point in time could have torn these two apart. After the ceremony had concluded, we made our way upstairs to begin the photos section, which was short & sweet yet beautiful & artistic all at the same time.

The nights festivities were nothing short of amazing, filled with dancing.. so much dancing! I don't think there was a moment I put my camera down there was just so much going on we couldn't miss a beat.

It was such an amazing experience to be apart of & we thank both Sid & Karlee for having us be apart of such a special time in their lives. Wishing them both nothing but the very best!!
