Hi everybody Rob here, we where so lucky to spend the day with Lachie and Dakota at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove. Our mission for the day was to capture beautiful Wedding Photography and Wedding Video whilst keeping it fun.
We started of with the guys who had a apartment on site, when we have a big bridal party like this it really does make our job easier as the action just creates itself and there isn’t much need for us to prompt or create moments with the boys I told one of my famous dad jokes which then lead to 10 minutes of smiles and laughter as they all shared the best and worst jokes that they had.
I truely think this shows in the wedding photo and video when it’s just natural and fun. Heading over to the girls the mood was very different all the girls new that the bride was only minutes away from putting on her dress, designed by Made With Love Bridal. The girls where 3min down to road at a private house in sanctuary cove and it was truely beautiful and made the perfect backdrop for these special moments leading up to the ceremony.
Having their hair & makeup done by Lara Quinn, they all looked extravagant!!
This emotion carried straight into the ceremony with Dakota walking down the isle the tears where flowing, as always the Intercontinental Chapel is amazing to shoot in and there Wedding Coordinator David is so great to work with so combine those facts and a an awesome couple I think we all knew we where apart of something special. The florals also supplied by Style on Q just completed the already amazing look these images had.
After the ceremony we got the group and family photos done and followed that by going on an adventure with the bridal party around the resort and keeping it fun and stopping at different spots along the way. We mix in shots of just the guys just the girls, everybody and then just our couple. Lachie and Dakota prioritised this for their wedding photo and video which is sooo amazing for us as they allowed ample time for us to really make sure we got the shot we where looking for.
Being an Intercontinental wedding photographer of many wedding we know our way around the resort very well, allowing us multiple locations & in good time.
Moving into the reception at the beautiful grange we quickly snuck in and got some room setup images before the guests arrived. The styling was just beautiful, styled by Style on Q, they always impress!! The rets of the night was filled with surprises & the best dance moves we have ever seen. Its so amazing seeing people just really enjoy themselves, and wedding receptions are the perfect place!
We cannot wait to be creating Lachie & Dakota’s premium wedding album as we know it will be AMAZING!!
