A Stunning Beach Elopement & Unique Underwater Wedding Photography – Matt & Tara’s Love Story
Our second elopement this week, and once again, we felt incredibly privileged to capture such a heartfelt and intimate moment.
Matt, Tara, and their beautiful 1-year-old daughter, Claire, shared this unforgettable experience together, creating lifelong memories. Claire will one day look back on this special day and see how she was a part of Mummy and Daddy’s wedding—a moment filled with love, joy, and connection.
Bridal Beauty & Beachside Wedding Ceremony
Tara looked absolutely breathtaking, with hair and makeup by the talented team at Blush’d Brides. Her makeup stayed flawless—even after an adventurous underwater photoshoot!
Matt & Tara stayed at Peppers Salt Resort & Spa in Kingscliff, NSW, where they had a beautiful beachfront ceremony. The heartfelt ceremony was officiated by Tarnya Bennett from I Do For You Ceremonies, with a gorgeous setup by Beautiful Weddings - Moreton Bay. The sun was shining, the sky was clear, and nothing could stop these two from saying “I Do.”
Golden Hour Wedding Photos & An Unforgettable Underwater Shoot
After the ceremony, we moved into the wedding photography session, capturing stunning golden-hour portraits along the pristine coastline. The natural lighting was perfect, creating breathtaking images that truly reflected the love between Matt & Tara.
But the highlight of the day? An underwater wedding photoshoot! Months before the big day, Tara had expressed her dream of capturing unique, artistic underwater wedding photography, and we were beyond excited to bring her vision to life.
Dressed in her gorgeous Luv Bridal wedding gown, Tara slowly submerged into the pool, hand-in-hand with Matt—fully dressed, hair, makeup, and all! The result? A series of ethereal, dreamlike images that made them look like royalty in an underwater kingdom. These images, enhanced with our signature special effects editing, became some of our most breathtaking wedding photos of 2018.
