Nathan & Kelly’s wedding day was really such an amazing occasion. Filled with a bunch of great vendors, you can see why their day was perfect. We were lucky enough to be apart of the big day held right at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold coast for a full day package.
This made everything easy for us to research photos prior to the day, as we’d previously shot at the location and knew some of the best spots for wedding photography and wedding videography. What was another advantage to having the wedding at Royal Pines, was the amazing team W Events who was chosen and helping cater to the day's amazing lush textures and styles, so we couldn’t wait to see what Nathan & Kelly had in store for us to capture. Makeup is a big thing on your wedding day, and if wanting that perfect flawless look Mily Boxsell was the girl for Kelly.
The finished product was amazing and you could tell Kelly was already glowing before the day had even started. Kelly’s hairstyle was also created by none other than Samantha Wellington ‘Styles on Donavan’, and was the best look to her strapless princess styled wedding dress by Luv Bridal.
It wasn’t too long though after taking all the signature shots that it was time to jet off to the ceremony held just downstairs from their penthouse luxury suites. The ceremony was an outdoor occasion. Turning up on the right, outside the chapel; it was the perfect ceremony spot that was right next to the lake on lush green grass. Nathan & Kelly’s loved ones were already there in position waiting for the two to come so the atmosphere was buzzing.
The team quickly went to set up the tripods and audio, checking over to make sure everything was perfect before the reveal. Nathan ended up showing up in a sleek car, hands up in the air and half the body out of the car, and you could tell this was up there with being one of the best days yet. to add to the effect, all of the groomsmen, groom included were looking nothing but handsome in their edge suits. Kelly turned up shortly after followed by her beautiful bridesmaids, and the emotions were starting to flow.
Throughout the service held by Celebrant Claire Oliver, you could tell that their love was special, not only did it grow from when they were kids, it’s produced two beautiful ones of their own, and this made the occasion that much more sentimental. This was shown by Claire’s beautiful service that provided that touch of humour and love suiting the couple's personalities.
The photos were held out on the golf course itself just as the sun was setting which created a lot of creative photos and video shots. we had an array of locations within RACV Royal Pines itself so we were able to play up a lot of lighting and background shots. The bridal party was nothing but amazing to work with, as they always provided us with a few laughs and extra details about the couple which we love. Heading to the reception, we couldn’t fault RACV Royal Pines at all. They were nothing but accommodating and were always making sure we had everything at our disposal.
The W Events team did an amazing job too! with fairy lights to the centre tables all lighting up and having unique displays really added to the personal feel of the room. Looking at the centre was an array of cupcakes created by Cupcake Passion acting as the first cake. It wasn’t long before the groups of family and friends were starting to head in, and the room was starting to heat up with a conversation of day and what was to arise.
The night was filled with passionate speeches, showing the childhoods of both people, and creating the picture of how their love became special. The night ended with an array for dancing and delicious food catered by RACV again.
